By Road: Directions to Furness Enterprise
From the north/south/east of the UK
Leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 taking the A591 towards Kendal. After about 3 miles, take the first, Brettargh Holt exit on the left onto the A590 and head west along the dual carriageway towards Barrow in Furness. Continue through Ulverston along the A590 bypass of Dalton in Furness, at the third roundabout take the second exit into Park Road, continue past Kimberly-Clark paper mill, which is on your right hand side, passing ASDA on your left, continue as far as the "Tesco roundabout" where you turn right towards Walney and the docks heading to the next roundabout just beyond Premier Tiles retail outlet where you should take the third exit into Bridge Approach, just past the bus shelter on your left take the entrance to a large car park.The main entrance to the Waterside House is then ahead of you.
From Ulverston via coast road (A5087)
Follow A5087 signs from Ulverston through Baycliff Aldingham to the rampside roundabout where you should take the second exit north north westas far as Roose roundabout there take the first exit left for 2km following the road round the right hand curve at St George's Square into the Strand where at the traffic lights adjacent to Morrisons store bear right to the roundabout up the hill which has the Majestic hotel facing you .Turn left into Michaelson Road as far as the next roundabaout then turn right as far a the next roundabout , then left and sharp left again (you will see the gable end sign to Waterside House) into Waterside house.
From West Cumbria.
Take the A595 south through Millom, Broughton to Grizebeck then either the A5092 to Ulverston or the A595 to Askam, continue on the A595 as far as A590 roundabout at Elliscales Dalton, then turn right and continue along the A590 into Barrow. Continue as far as the "Tesco roundabout" where you turn right towards Walney and the docks heading to the next roundabout just beyond Premier Tiles retail outlet where you should take the third exit into Bridge Approach, just past the bus shelter on your left take the entrance to a large car park.The main entrance to the Waterside House is then ahead of you.

Regular passenger services operate to and from Manchester, Preston, Lancaster, Carlisle and west Cumbria to Barrow-in-Furness.
For 'Inter City' travel from London, Birmingham, the south west of England, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow
Web access to rail timetables is at National Rail inquiries . The fastest London to Barrow journey time is 4 hours, alternatively you can take the train from London to Lancaster (3 hours) or Oxenholme (3-3½ hours), then drive to Furness.
On arrival at Barrow rail station for Furness Enterprise
you can either take a taxi - 6 minutes, or walk,
to walk leave the station and turn right into Holker Street, proceed northwards then turn left into Blake Street, continuing until Bath Street is reached turn right then continue to the A590 at Walney Road. Cross this road to Furness Business Park head right to Ironworks Road, turn left and Furness Enterprise is 150 yards ahead on the right situated opposite the Rayrigg Rover garage. Walking time is 15-20 minutes.

Stagecoach buses run local routes through the town of Barrow-in-Furness, to Ulverston and most Furness settlements.
The X35 service links Barrow to Kendal. The X7 service runs to Askam-in-Furness and Millom. Comprehensive information on bus travel is available from Travel Line Cumbria which also details local rail and boat services.

Manchester International Airport
Manchester Airport is located approximately 100 miles south of Barrow. Over 19 million passengers a year pass through the airport. Barrow is easily accessible from the airport by the M6 motorway northbound, exiting at junction 36. There is also a direct train link from the airport to Barrow.
