Furness Enterprise is a local enterprise partnership. It is businesses "first choice for business support" within SW Cumbria.Hill Taylor Partnership's independant survey in summer 2009 showed that "over 58% of respondants mentioned us as first for business information and support", whilst the next nearest organisation only had a 10.67% share.
We provide businesses of all sizes with a wide range of business support services. Our focus is upon companies seeking money and markets and on helping firms innovate, seek discretionary local and Assisted area grants and delivery of total business support packages to enable firms to grow and individuals to access work.

Unlike membership organisations "we are open to all" companies - anyone can come to our events or use our services.We also are open to help all individuals seeking work or affected by redundancy and seeking to reskill.
Furness Enterprise are 2009's National Federation Enterprise Agencies "combatting worklessness" national award winner, earlier in 2008 we were designated the "most enterprising area of NW England. Ekosgen in 2009 identified Barrow as the NW's most improved economy since 1997.
