Ken Newsome (Fusion Training and Development Ltd)
Joined the programme as coordinator in Sept 2005 and my main role is to manage the day to day running of the project as well as acting as advisor to both individual clients and small businesses.
I also have responsibility for completing the project returns and meeting the audit requirements for Furness Enterprise as a provider.
I have had an extensive career in education and learning having been a teacher for 30 years prior to forming my own training company, in partnership with my wife Gill, in 2004.

Ellie Holmes |
I started working for Furness Enterprise in October 2004 as an Administration Assistant. Furness Enterprise offered me the chance to undertake an NVQ in Advice and Guidance, after completing the qualification my job role changed and I became Assistant Advisor within the Re-Skill Support Programme.
I enjoy all aspects of my work especially one-to-one work, identifying the clients training needs and being able to book them onto their requested course.
It is very satisfying to see our clients achieve their training and gain employment.
